Local Machine Group Policy

Hi, We have some laptops for students which I want to implement the local machine group policy as they will be logging on as a local user, but when I try to implement the local Machines group policy it also does it for the Administrator account aswell. is there a way i can disable access to C drive, remove control panel and the Run command from the User logon, any ideas?

Local group policies will apply to all users on the computer. Not sure of any ways to get round it

You could use SteadyState to stop any changes saving....

That's the way I did it on our library computers and it works a treat. Judging by the student comments "You can't do nothing on them computers!"
