"A Verizon customer filed a lawsuit after the tech the company sent out got a little punchy. Instead of fixing the customer's problem, the tech allegedly hit him in the face.

Apparently a Tech from Verizon in the US snaped and beat up the customer on a housecall. I wonder which clause of the SLA that was covered under .

It is kind of worrying to hear about and you have to wonder what sort of day he was having to drive him to such extremes, not that that is any justification.

So (reading the end paragraphs of the story) if I get a job with Verizon, they won't mind if I punch the occasional user in the face?

I'm guessing he had asked "Have you made sure its plugged in and switched on at the wall" over the phone - to be told "Yes I Have.."

Only to find upon arrival that it was infact not plugged in or switched on at the wall..
