FMS SQL Error

When in FMS and going to FOCUS | PERSONEL LINKS | SALARY PROJECTION, this message apears. Any ideas?

 

Key Voiolation.

This is quite a common problem, especially if your server is now running windows 2k8.

 

Do you have SQL Native Client installed on the server?

 

if not install it (download here: Download details: Feature Pack for SQL Server 2005 Feb 2007)

 

- Pick the download:

 

sqlncli.msi for 32 bit systems

sqlncli_x64.msi for 64 bit systems

hmm, this error was very similar to the one i got a while back now when playing with SIMS and Server 2008. Erm.. Try Detaching and Re-attaching the FMS database?

Try running SIMS on the workstation, make sure it works, then try FMS again. Failing that log a call with Capita. Looks like you have a problem with your P7 data.

I appreciate this thread is very old however I had this exact issue today and there was a quick and easy solution.

 

There were a few members of staff who had no gender assigned to them within Sims. Once all staff within Sims had a gender assigned all worked correctly....
