Rawns Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 When in FMS and going to FOCUS | PERSONEL LINKS | SALARY PROJECTION, this message apears. Any ideas? Key Voiolation. [Microsoft][sql Server]The UPDATE statement conflicted with the CHECK constraint "CK_person_gender". The conflict occured in database"CCSFMS", table "dbo.person", column "gender". General SQL error. [Microsoft][sql native Client][sql Server]The statement has been terminated.
EduTech Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 (edited) This is quite a common problem, especially if your server is now running windows 2k8. Do you have SQL Native Client installed on the server? if not install it (download here: Download details: Feature Pack for SQL Server 2005 Feb 2007) - Pick the download: sqlncli.msi for 32 bit systems sqlncli_x64.msi for 64 bit systems Hope that helps, James. EduTech Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 hmm, this error was very similar to the one i got a while back now when playing with SIMS and Server 2008. Erm.. Try Detaching and Re-attaching the FMS database? James.

matt40k Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Try running SIMS on the workstation, make sure it works, then try FMS again. Failing that log a call with Capita. Looks like you have a problem with your P7 data.
EduRich Posted June 3, 2014 Posted June 3, 2014 I appreciate this thread is very old however I had this exact issue today and there was a quick and easy solution. There were a few members of staff who had no gender assigned to them within Sims. Once all staff within Sims had a gender assigned all worked correctly....
