Gatt Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Trying to run 2 reoprts on SIMS to export All Current Teaching Staff and All Current Support Staff with an effective date of 1st September 2009 to reflect staff who have left and new staff However I cannot set an "Effective Date" parameter for staff! I can set one for Students and right at the start of a new report, but as soon as I set it defaults to Students and I cannot change the focus to Staff! I really need to be able to set the effective date so I can export all staff ready for importing them into AD Oh and the Staff are back on 1st september so it can't really wait till then
DMcCoy Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 I don't think you can, at least with the supplied report. You can choose to report on current and then future staff getting a complete list, but this may include people with leaving dates at the end of the holidays.

Sivadam Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 (edited) Rather than looking for an effective date, include Filters with Fields for Employment Start and End dates - either by actual dates or other definitions (e.g. Start date is before 02/09/2009 and End date is 'null').
