Smoothwall SSL Login

We have setup our Smoothwall to use SSL login so now IE keeps telling us there's a problem when we go to login, so I think I'll need to distribute a certificate to all of the clients. Is the best way of doing this to install the windows certificate service or is there an alternative way?
