To be honest no but idea is to make people more aware of importance of lifecover in some ways. As marketing idea very clever people on here will say once you have kids start to reevaluate life etc and something like this become important. Lets be honest if had free cover for year of someone then likely to go to them to continue it.

 

Also remember that once you start you can't change firm as you lose what you have paid into it etc so getting people when they hit 25/30 and start have families is very clever ploy.

Yes it would unless you want a solid gold casket. Your probably looking between 3,500 and 5,500 for a Burial, Cremations are usually less (less work involved in one of them IE there isn't a deep hole to dig). Costs vary from area to area as fees I believe are locally set, and obviously the work that the funeral director has to do, casket chosen, clothing / shrouds etc etc (you get the drift....)
