you are not going to get original hp toner cartridges cheaper from no one they are at least 50% cheaper than other suppliers.

But we pay 87.66 for the colour hp laserjet black cartridge hp number hp-c9730a

 

And 128.29 for the other 3 HP Colour cartridges.

 

£61.37 for the HP2015 high capacity 7000 page toner and £32 for the 3000 page toner.

funny that as they charged a educational customer of mine £111.05+vat for the Hp2015 high cap and £167.10 for the C9730A

 

mabye your getting a extra extra special deal,

QC supplies are a trading name for one of the big wholesalers,and have got some government contracts...I found that they could be below cost on the core items, but were absolutley hammering customers on non core products!!!

Are laserjets still a health hazard like they were a few year back? Back then yopu had to ensure that there was a decent airflow to ensure that the tiny particles emitted from the printer were carried away from the lungs. I had heard that headaches/nausea were often suffered as a result of too much inhalation of said particles.

 

Now we have offices with 4 of these beasts in them!

All laser printers produce these fumes. Not just laserjets.

 

Important to note that having good airflow isn't just important for laser printers, but computers too. Working in an environment with poor airflow will cause a lot of extra, unneeded stress.

The cost of printing consumables for schools is constantly increasing and unpredictable as far as the budget is concerned. Schools tend to put funds aside to purchase the actual printer , which often is reasonably priced , and then are surprised about the actual running costs. First rule when purchasing hardware is to check the actual cost per page , second rule are(is) there are many remanufactured toners available that will cut the running costs by around 30%. The remanufactured cartridge industry has seen a great deal of growth over the past few years and quality of the products has vastly improved. Thirdly make sure you can deal with the manufacturer directly as this will give the option for additional technical advice reducing the down time of the printer as well as providing you with potentially more money saving information to ensure the correct products are being used.

 

Having spent a number of years supplying Wholesalers / Resellers only we have recently started to supply the market directly in order to put our experience to good use.

We've just had one of our colour photocopiers moved into a little room with no outside ventilation. I had to put my foot down there and insist they got a good extractor fan fitted, as our reprographics person would have probably been quite ill being stuffed in that room with the copier going all the time!
