Room booking in SIMS .net

Ages ago I logged a Change request (CR) for Capita to include a room booking feature within SIMS .net. This would be good for teachers who want to book out the library, ICT Suite or such. It would be great if it was within SIMS, as it saves you having to export from SIMS into a 3rd party app, plus it could update there timeline etc.

 

I'm guess they would fob this off till Nova-T7, but still it would be nice to be added to the scope.

Your CR actually requested it to be included in V.7 so I guess it won't even be comsidered until then ...

initially thought it would be best suited to something in sharepoint, but i really like the idea of it changing on the homepage and being indicated in sims.

When is T7 due out?

Nova-T4 dies when the reports go into .NET which Capita are aiming for March-2010. So I'll see it 2012??

Roadmap goes up to March 2010 after that it's a blur where only the Gods of SIMS and FMS live, we merely get the rained upon a few years laters...
