We have received a copy of Cyberlink DVD suite with new Stone computers, which actually looks good as it can play DVDs and burn data CDs / DVDs etc.

 

If we use the one activation code on the master image machine will it still be 'activated' on the imaged machines?

Yes, but do you have copies/licenses for the other machines?

We use that on the samsung laptops we have, for everything else i use K-lite codec pack and so we can play DVDs through windows media player without paying for anything.

It would play if you had a hardware VGA splitter, as the decoder software wouldn't be able to tell. If you're using a dual configuration using software then it can create problems with the video overlay.

 

There are ways around this too. Within Media Player, navigate to Tools > Options > Performance tab > Advanced. Untick 'Use overlays'.

Have you tried K-Lite Codec? It seems to work with anything and will allow DVD's to be played through Windows Media Player.
