Moving Users Home Directories to a file server - RM

We currently have 4 DC's running RM CC3. All of the users Home directories and profiles are on them.

 

We are looking at moving the users home directories to seperate member servers and re-pointing their home folder in active directory.

 

This seems to work with the few that I have tried it with and I can only see a problem in that the managment console no longer allows you to manage the quotas ( A hit I'm prepared to take..Manual quota changes vs eggs in one basket...hmmm!).

 

Has anybody done this before and what where the issues?
