sparkeh Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Just been chatting to RM engineer and our backup routine came up. He told me that you can't restore System State from a network location and that is has to be from a local device - is this true 'cos I have never heard this before.
robriley Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 I have managed to restore system state from a network location, the server, which was a DC, had a problem with the active directory being damaged; the server was booted using the Directory Services Restore mode from the F8 boot menu. 1
