Pashers Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 Hi guys, Is there a simple way to find out what the UNC path is for a mapped drive? Thanks,
Michael Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 My Computer > Tools > Map Network Drive Alternatively, have a look in the NETLOGON share for logon scripts. You can open them with notepad.
Crispin Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 In Windows 7 you can select 'network location' if you right click the columns in explorer, but I'm not sure about xp.
Pashers Posted July 7, 2009 Author Posted July 7, 2009 It's for XP/Server 2003. I've found the UNC path, I've gone to the server. Went into the Command Prompt then used the net share command. This was good enough for me. Thanks
mac_shinobi Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 I normally just right click on my computer --> Manage --> shared folders --> in the right pane it then shows you the paths and what its assigned to etc ( you also get sessions etc )
