I no longer have a car aerial

...because a very poor automatic wash took it away from me. I'm suitably grumpy now that I can't find out what's happening on the way to work any more.

 

So, I'm in the market for a replacement aerial for a 2002 Nissan Micra, if anybody has any suggestions?

DOn't know about the exact model, but if your stereo head has an power aerial out then this might be a good buy Fully Automatic Car Aerial > Maplin

Some ittle w***** sole mine last night. OK, so it was only an old metal coat hanger poking out what remained of the aerial, but it worked!

I do have the output for a power aerial, but where does it mount - the rear quarter window? My car experience is nil.

Try CPC - they have a range of aerials. If it's the original factory 'beesting' aerial, it should be a cheap screw-in replacement

i can sympathise..mine was nicked 6 months ago and boyfriend had a go at fixing it on saturday and has now made it worse...definately need the base of mine replaced now will have to wait for him to come back from his trip to mongolia before we attempt it again.

One of the lads at work has had its aerial nicked twice whilist at work, once in Leeds when on a course and recently at one of our sites! Were in the process of trying to find a similar car to aquire one off!!

No idea in a micra I'm afraid....where's the current one mounted?

On the roof, fixed length and facing backwards along the car (hence the problem when the air blower passed towards the bonnet at a height of approximately three inches...).
