Ikea laptop table

Hello All,

 

To go with my nice new Acer netbook, I thought I might an Ikea "Dave" laptop table. Does anyone else have one of these? Would you recommend them? They look a bit small and flimsy, but it's only got to fit a small netbook so I guess it might be just the thing.

Suppose they look alright, handy to sit at the side of the sofa in the living room :-)

 

I was actually looking at buying one of these: Buy Orbit Beech Finish Laptop Table. at Argos.co.uk - Your Online Shop for . They seem more stable and less flimsy

We had one of those Ikea tables - bit flimsy - and our cat jumped on to it and knocked it over. Fortunately it was the wife's laptop on it and not mine

 

;-)

 

And as we had it in the lounge we kept tripping over the feet going past.

 

My dad has it now and he uses it as a bedside table.
