IPhone Exchange issue

Hi All, I am having difficulty link our exchange server to my IPhone. Its the latest 3.0 software, and syncing it through ITunes doesn't seem to work. When I enter the correct details the account verify just fails. Do I need to do anything on the exchange side to allow remote connection. I must add that my colleague can get his e-mails on his C902! Grrrrr.

Which version is exchange? 2003 or 2007? Standard or enterprise? Did it connect prior to the 3.0 upgrade?

We've linked 15 up to our Exchange server with no problems, however you have to install the Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync Mobile Administration Web tool on your Exchange server first of all. See here (in the Exchange tab).

Thanks for that Ken, installed it but still no joy! I'm obviously losing the plot!!

 

We use exchange 2003 standard sp2, and no it didn't work before the software update.

I don't Think exchange 2003 standard single server install natively supports it. There are ways around it, some break webmail though so you may want to check you have not broken anything else.

We went thru the same thing, it didn't work, then we installed SP2 and the above mentioned software, still didn't work, then after a couple of minutes (& a reboot) it just sprung into life...
