Andrew_C Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 I picked up a very lightly used Pixma780 for home. Having just embarked on a CD production project for for work, I thought I'd just experiment with printing a label on a CD (just to see how it worked, how long etc) but I find I need a special tray for the disk. I'll go back to where it came from, but I'm not optimistic! Does anyone have one they don't need (unlikely), know where I could buy one, or even if one could be fudged out of some tackyback plastic and cardboard? Failing that, what would you recommend that we buy? 50-100 disk batches I suppose, colour would be a luxury, although I suppose there may not be a choice.
contink Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 I may be able to help... Lemme check my stock of trays to see if I still have the correct one.
contink Posted June 20, 2009 Posted June 20, 2009 Blast... everything except the one you need... FYI: You need a 'B' tray... Most get resold to the USA though as Canon were blocked from having CD printing on their printers due to Epson holding a patent in the states. QED: Canon don't provide the trays to those folks, creating a great grey market which has seen trays worth almost as much as a new printer sometimes. Sorry I couldn't help directly... but hope that gets you pointed in the right direction. 1
