Internet Explorer Logoff Error

Hi,

We have recently been getting errors messages on all machines when users are logging off machines.

Its from IExplorer and if you click End Now the PC logs off fine.

Any ideas?

I assume it's the message that XP pops up informing the program is still running (or words to that effect) and it can be forcibly closed by pressing End Now. First thing I would look for are any add-ons that shouldn't be there? What version of Flash are you running? I hear 10 can cause many issues, so if it is that then reverting to the more stable version 9 may be of a help.

We've had this problem caused by Acrobat before - if you have just updated then it could be this.

 

It was something to do with permissions and the reader plug-in for IE although I cannot remember off hand how we managed to cure it.
