Whilst Truecrypt is free there are no instructions on how to deploy it automatically. Is there a server based product out there? - I don't mind paying (well, to a point!)

CyberNerd Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 I just searched wpkg TrueCrypt - WPKG | Open Source Software Deployment and Distribution TrueCrypt This is a silent installer for TrueCrypt, a program for using files or partitions as encrypted volumes. Very high level of security is offered alongside with hidden volumes etc. Unfortunately it currently doesn't have a silent installer. The following uses msi-packet from RogueSpear (Registration to forums required). Msi-packet doesn't support silent uninstalling.

burgemaster Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I spent a long time making an MSI for truecrypt, has that MSI been there for long lol? I just installed the MSI from the souceforge site and it doesnt seem to work as it doesnt install the driver? (checked on Vista) I think my MSI ONLY installed the driver and they could then run truecrpyt in portable mode? Its been a while, and after hours of work, only 2 people ever brought memory sticks to me.. but hey
