Theblacksheep Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Hi, I've been trying to add in a website into the 'bypass' list in the CC3 MMC. All ok with the MMC i can see the site added fine. However i'm still getting blocked and I wondered where this was set in the 2003 AD GPO.
bossman Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 @Theblacksheep: Would that be in the RMMC configuaration settings>internet and E-mail settings> under proxy in the drop down?
Theblacksheep Posted June 12, 2009 Author Posted June 12, 2009 (edited) @Theblacksheep: Would that be in the RMMC configuaration settings>internet and E-mail settings> under proxy in the drop down? Hi Bossman, thanks for the reply, yeah thats the one... My boss here just found it on establishments/properties/admin templates/research machines/proxy server Although adding it in didn't work. I added the same address local on the machine through tools/options/connections/lan settings/advanced I cant do this for the students as they cant access this setting on the brower. Do i need to wait for replication in order to pass this down to the clients? FYI: I'm using a web browser to connect to the VMware View VDI connection server to get access to desktops on the VMware hosts. Edited June 12, 2009 by Theblacksheep
bossman Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 You could force it on the workstation by running the command line gpudate /force 1
Theblacksheep Posted June 12, 2009 Author Posted June 12, 2009 grrrr, didnt work after the reboot We do have 8 DCs any chance its not replicated across that yet?
ICTSM Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 I find that the RMMC config for bypassing proxies does not work. After modifying the GPO directly, however...it did. Since then, I havn't bothered with that funcionality of RMMC.
