Ok All, i have a weird one. yesterday for some reason when my teachers logon or logoff and the 'my docs' sync kicks in it not only does there homepath but also several of the others!! i have made no changes to the GPO for some weeks now and at am a total loss as to what is causing this.

 

any ideas fellow geekers?

We get this when one member of staff lets another member of staff use their laptop, and because of this it syncs their files and the other member of staffs files we tend to just clear the cache to sort it.

 

Not sure if that the right thing to do tho

thanks notalot, i have been doing this periodically as well, however in this case the users in question hadn't logged onto the affected laptops!!

 

i am very perplexed :confused:

The default behaviour of offline files is to sync any network shares that a users accesses. You can set the share not to be avaiable offline. Then use CSCCMD.exe to remove the shares that have already been cached. PM me your e-mail and I will send over the exe and a list of commands.
