  1. Turning the power off at the wall produces the windows error recovery screen to be displayed at next boot. The students have relised that they can circumvent our GPOs if they use this screen to boot into safe mode. Google has given some food for thought but none of the solutions have worked on our domian. We are running Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. The solutions that I have tried are. 1. bcdedit /set {current} bootstatuspolicy ignoreallfailures 2. clearing the value in: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Session Manager \ BootExecute 3. bcdedit /set {default} recoveryenabled No Has anyone manged to turn this off? Or can anyone lend a hand in what is becoming "one of those" issues?
  2. Hello to all, I started scouring the internet for a free and simple to use web design tool. I found NetObjects Fusion Essentials which is fits the bill. I have packaged the xp version into an msi using admin studio. But the results are less than welcome. Software installs ok, but pages that used to have templates etc now are blank. I need some advise/pre-packaged msi. Thanks.
  3. Is there any software for intel based macs that can anti-alias videos? I have googled but with no joy. The cameras we use are really bad at recording fast moving objects, with no settings to change on the camer. Ideally the video could be enhanced on the mac before importing into Final Cut.
  4. The default behaviour of offline files is to sync any network shares that a users accesses. You can set the share not to be avaiable offline. Then use CSCCMD.exe to remove the shares that have already been cached. PM me your e-mail and I will send over the exe and a list of commands.
  5. I have thought about installing moodle along side but our Head of ICT doesnt like the idea. It was his idea to go with SharePoint! Any other suggestions?
  6. I have the SLK installed but the only way to view content is to assign it to myself. Is there a webpart or anything I can install so I view the content by creating a link. Or is there another SCORM reader I can install along side SharePoint that I can link to? I have searched Google and Codeplex but havent found anything.
  7. I updated the service pack but still the images sometimes load with crosses. I already have all the other versions of .net Hope there are more ideas out there?
  8. This affects all the users internally and externally. I have started noticing the problem on FireFox this morning aswell. I really thought the re-install of .Net would have solved it
  9. The images are loading correctly on my machine using Firefox. But not loading correctly using IE. Anymore ideas I can try please??
  10. Its a local URL so the RBC should be effecting the page. And we dont have a cache box. Do you have any other ideas please?
  11. Does anyone have an idea on how I can stop images loading with a red cross? When I refresh the page the image appears. See the attach screen shot. All the images have the Everyone read permission. Please Help!!!
