stu1892 Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 Hi all, We have our home page set through a GPO for the whole school. It works fine. However, if you have used IE and then close it, open it again it comes up with 'go.microsoft...' etc as the homepage which doesn't work. I have it set manually on a couple of admin machines with IE7 and several home page tabs. However they always get the first tab set as 'go.microsoft...' whichi'm guessing is the first run trying to run again. However the install of IE7, i disabled the first run with IEAK. Any ideas?

I kept typing first run in the search, no wonder i couldn't find it. I'll give it a shot. Thanks again.
elsiegee40 Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 No problem! I bookmarked the thread when it was started in case of future problems.
ricki Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 Hi If I remember correctly you will need to put the latest adm for ie7 onto group policy Download details: ADM files for Internet Explorer 7 for Windows Then I think you will find that the setting is at Administrative Templates->Windows Components->Internet Explorer->Prevent performance of First Run Customize settings Richard
