Don't get me wrong, i'd love to have a pet monkey! But it's so wrong!!

It's pretty sad but at the same time, these are ladies who don't seem to want to detach from motherhood. With a monkeys constant need for attention and with it not wanting to leave home, it makes some sense.

At least this way they're not developing a severe case of dependency and attention-seeking behaviour in an actual child who will grow up, only to suffer a severe trauma when they have to finally develop some sort of independence.

So do I - after all they are wild animals and should not be treated like this. I know they are probably 'happy' but it seems very wrong to me.

 

And the people doing it need psychiatric help - especially the ones who seem to really see the monkey as a real child

I know, i find the fact they carry it around in a pram, and then are shocked when they cant sit in a cafe, scary!

 

Poor Monkeys, what about the diet, what about exposure to sunlight so they dont end up with brittle bones, what about climbing & being with there own kind!

 

The one Monkey was trying to break the biscuit like they do with nuts, slamming it on the table.

 

It's all well and good giving kittens away, the cat gets over it once you've fed it. But monkey are so much more intelligent, they remember that at one point they had a baby!
