Quote for Samsung NC10 and NC20 or equivalent

I'm looking to spend approximately £5000 (ex VAT) on netbooks or low-cost laptops.

 

Battery life is the key purchasing descision with screen size being second (as one piece of software -Crazy Talk needs 1024x768 )

 

If necessary, we won't use crazy talk

 

I like the NC10 it is perfect as far a battery life goes.

NC10 is a very good choice, build quality and reliability is second to none and the battery life is very impressive (5 to 6 hrs) - The only down-side in your case is the screen resolution, it's 1024 x 600 (same as 90% of netbooks)

 

You might be better with small laptops that are guaranteed to have the resolution and most have larger capacity batteries, even at the low end.

The Asus Eee 1000H Netbook has the same Battery life, has B/G and N Wireless not just B/G and has this weird 1024&768 emulation mode, where it misses a few lines out to get the resolution, i've got both NC10's and Eee 1000H PC's and the only thing the samsung has over the Asus Eee PC is the mouse pad is better. Where as the Eee PC can do this weird 1024*768, has N Capable Wireless , and can be bought for around £240 without VAT.

We had Toshiba in here yesterday and have some very, very good deals on their notebooks so please let me know a rough budget per notebook / netbook and I'll get on the case for you

We are looking for 32 of the NC10 or NC20. We would like the option for an additional 2 year warranty (on site if possible). It needs to be as competitive as possible as the competition is a cheaper more inferior machine.
