dsk Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 (edited) Hey guys. I currently have the excellent Nebula Electronics DVB card which has served me well up untill now. The problem im facing is that I plan to upgrade to Vista/7 in the near future (64bit) and there are no 64bit drivers for the PCI card I have. A friend gave me their Happauge HVR 1300, which on paper seemed fine, but it doesnt pick up half the channels that I get with my nebual (see attached piccy). I was wondering what you guys are using. Ideally, a PC card option is best as im lacking the space for an extra box/server etc. Ta muchly! Edited May 20, 2009 by dsk
crc-ict Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Steer clear of Compro cards - we had one here and it was utterly useless. Feature set looked good, unfortunately, it didn't work!
Dos_Box Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 This: BGT3540 - BlackGold is the Rolls Royce of tuner cards. It used to have some 'issues' but the latest drivers sort that out. 1
dsk Posted May 22, 2009 Author Posted May 22, 2009 Oh my, that blackgold card sounds amazing! I wonder when they will get them back in stock!
