Current scanners here require user to be local admin, anyone use/know another way.

We use Canon Scanners and they work no matter what level your logged on as.

The HPs and Epsons we have knocking about the place work fine as standard users too.

We have canon 3200F they work fine with normal users too.

We've had some problems with HPs that use their Director software. We got it working by giving domain users read/write permisions on the Director folder.
