Do you manage any staff? Do you just support Windows? There are lots of questions that can be asked!

Unfortunately for support staff at the moment, we are paid at whatever salary the school thinks we should. It is quite common for staff doing a similar job in different schools being paid different salaries, sometimes with a £15k difference.

 

Going off the trend of pay for that sort of job at the moment, taking into consideration your skills & quals, my best guess would be at around £24,000 - £26,000. However, out of Education this should be a slightly larger amount.

 

I think union websites or your LEA/LA would have copies of pay scales and their amounts, but not what scales certain roles get paid.

also if bleong to unnison or gmb ask them for login to payline as this has lot of lea payscales on it...
