MattGibson Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 We are having issues printing reports in Assessment Manager. Every time our admin lady prints 10 she gets an error saying "encountered a problem and needs to close" The Event Logs show a few errors: Event Type: Error Event Source: .NET Runtime 2.0 Error Reporting Event Category: None Event ID: 5000 Date: 07/05/2009 Time: 10:24:09 User: N/A Computer: ASSESMENT Description: EventType clr20r3, P1 pulsar.exe, P2 7.116.18.0, P3 49b6a086, P4 mscorlib, P5 2.0.0.0, P6 43d5a5ba, P7 1c9, P8 0, P9 system.outofmemoryexception, P10 NIL. Has anybody else experienced this? I have applied the MS patches as they suggest. Also changed the print driver from PCL6 to PCL5c

Steve_T Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 There is a patch for this i'll find the number later for you
Steve_T Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 KB85586 and patch 12804 I know it says previewing but give it a shot after a backup of course.
vikpaw Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 We had to apply that patch post March upgrade because it would not print the teachers' names on the reports. It's worth a try though, our system wasn't crashing out but it was being a bit slow and weird sometimes on generation.
