I have the RC installed on a machine with 4GB of 1066MHz memory, Core2Duo and nVidia chipset/Asus mobo.

After installing everything was fine for a while, until after a couple of reboots things went downhill. No matter what applications were running, after a variable amount of time (anywhere between two and ten minutes) things would start to lock up. I could be browsing the web, extracting a file with 7zip or downloading windows updates, but things would then grind to a halt. I can move the cursor for a little while until that disappears. Doesn't matter how long it's left in that condition, I still have to perform a hard reset.

I suspect it's a driver issue, so I was wondering if anyone's heard of any issues with these symptoms?

Asus seem to be taking a bashing with Windows 7...

The thing I had to change was (Asus P5B) the voltage on my RAM, SPD only outputted 1.8V, and RAM needed 2.1V, so was locking and BSOD's....

No problems on my Asus kit here, but then again other than my video card it's not an nvidia based system. I have noted a few people having issues on nvidia motherboard chipsets, which I will be certain are driver related. Not at all surprising, it took nVidia half a year after Vista's release to make their graphics card drivers work without crashing randomly.

I'm now using the 32bit version (wasted memory, sigh...) and all seems to be running fine. The only difference so far is I've not used any nVidia drivers, other than what MS have made available through windows update.

I may tempt fate and try the 64bit version again, but not just yet.
