wesleyw Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 When I go into LNM - A choose quota management Clicking on a year group causes this error to appear: A system error occurred (code 7501). If error persists please contact support Any ideas please? Wes
GrumbleDook Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 What happens when you try the standard quota tools? Are you using LNM on R2?
wesleyw Posted June 23, 2006 Author Posted June 23, 2006 Yep using LNM on release 2 - don't tell me let me guess it won't work with R2? Wes
GrumbleDook Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 Try using the quota management tools that are part of R2 .. once I had used these it was fine through LNM
wesleyw Posted June 24, 2006 Author Posted June 24, 2006 It doesn't seem to happen with teachers or staff just the pupils quota management goes awry when I go into that particular years quota but only when I click on the Year itself not when I click on the edit icon to the right? Wes
wesleyw Posted June 24, 2006 Author Posted June 24, 2006 I still get the error though when I try and change it, also when I try and change thew staff quotas unless I use the quota settings button at the bottom I get internal error! Do you know of any decednt freeware products that would at least to the bulk user imports I know I can use the scripts etcetera but just wondered if there was something to ease this process? Wes
plexer Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 At the moment I just use an excel spreadsheet to create my batch files to bulk create year intake usernames. Ben
plexer Posted June 24, 2006 Posted June 24, 2006 wohoo I'm jacked into this 24/7 http://www.petri.co.il/create_users_for_testing_purposes.htm#4 Shows some methods of adding users dsadd looks interesting Ben
ChrisH Posted June 25, 2006 Posted June 25, 2006 Theres a LDIFDE GUI wrapper here if anyone is interested and if anyone wants a copy of my adduser script just give me a shout as it is fairly easy to add fields and it fully functional its just the error checking that only 90% done.
wesleyw Posted June 28, 2006 Author Posted June 28, 2006 Re-installed LNM and the OS seems to be fine now? Strange that! Wes
