SP2 for Office 2007 has been released and adds some nice features including ODF support and integrating the PDF support fully. There are also numerous speed boosts and apparently better printing quality along with a long list of other improviments. It also looks like a propperly slipstreamed version will be avalible as well.

thanks for that; I'm downloading it now. One of the speed improvements is supposed to be in Outlook - various bits will get quicker (moving between folders, closing down etc) so I'm looking forward to that :-)

 

The downloaded EXE should expand to give you an MSP; if you put this in the updates folder on your admin install then it will update new installs from that location.

Nice update, I noticed outlook now "prepares mailbox for first use" in a pop up which is nice as users in the past used to try and use it immediately and think they lost all their emails

And what does that break? Just discovered from our host that the beta of PKS does not play ball with load balancing ... another idea down the pan.
