Unbale to login into server after power cut.

We have a file server that we use to back up to across the network. Its not mission critical but we need to get it back up and running as soon as poss.

When it boots up it comes up with a 'winlogon.exe unable to locate component' error. The error is 'this application failed to start because IMAGEHLP.dll was not found, try re-installing the application may fix this.'

Now, this server has nothing on it apart form a bog standard server 2003 enterprise install, it has not other MS or 3rd party software installed. Nw if you click ok to thes error it goes through to the log on box. You log in and the 'explorer.exe' gives the same error. If you click ok to that it logs in but with no GUI. I can run task manager and also remote the pc from another server. Problem we have is this server sits high up on a cab and has no monitor,KB or mouse connected as we remote it all the time.

Any suggestions?

I'm assuming the ups monitoring software shut the fileserver down before battery backup ran out?

you may want grab it out of the rack, boot from the installation cd and check everything using the recovery console.
