Program crashes (2.1)

Hi all,

 

I've been happily using edusweep 1 and have now installed 2.1, however when i run a task, it does its counting directories bit then dissapears!

 

looking in the event viewer i can see:

any ideas?? im a bit lost here and would like this brilliant program working again

It sounds like something in the directory structure is tripping the scanner up. If the folder you're scanning is located on that computer, it'd be worth running chkdsk over it to see what it turns up.

 

Ideally I'd start investigating this right away but my exams are looming so I've had to put these projects on the back burner until June. Feel free to PM me or email me if you keep having problems (especially if it happens on multiple folders) and I can send you a debug version.
