dhicks Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 we are looking to purchase a good value Teacher Friendly digital camera currently (budget up to £70). We got 5 Canon PowerShot A470s with Tesco vouchers last year. They work a treat and seem to be able to handle general school use. They take standard rechargable AA batteries and SD memory cards. Still images are fine and the video footage they produce can be edited straight in Windows Movie Maker. I'd have gone for the A570 myself, just because it has a higher frame rate for video recording, and I think there's a new model out (A480?) for this year, but otherwise we're very happy with them. Around £60 each if you search a bit. -- David Hicks 1
ICT_GUY Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 Canon Powershots are great value and take pretty good pictures. 1
