Symantec Endpoint on DHCP Server

Just a heads up on this one...

 

Over the Easter break one of our technicians updated the Symantec Enpoint client software on a server running DHCP. Today we came in with clients unable to connect left right and centre!

 

After much fiddling and troubleshooting we tracked the issue down to Endpoint. Disabling the client and restarting DHCP enabled clients to get an address again!

 

I thought I'd post this incase anyone has similar issues. It might save you 3hours investigating other things if you try this first!
