Forgive the noobish question but never having had to join a non Microsoft client to a domain before...

 

I'm trying to join this Openfiler SAN program to our domain. It is asking for the domain name, IP addresses of the DCs, domain credentials and a field I've not come across before: ADS Realm. What would that be? Is that the same as the pre-windows 2000 domain name?

ADS = Active Directory Services - it is your .example.com domain

It's your kerberos realm name. As Cybernerd says, this is usual your dns domain name.
