Hi, thanks for the help so far :D

I have another problem now i get the following messege

LDAP-module cannot connect to any servers: Server: '172.20.0.1' Connection: 'Resource id #45' Bind result: ''

I have attached screenshots of my configuration.

The domain is called btc.local and we are running Windows Server 2008 DC's and the above is the IP address of one of them.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Z

@FN-GM:

Looking at the URL settings should it not be as you have stated: ldap://ldap.btc.local

instead of the IP address? :) :) :)

according to this - LDAP authentication - MoodleDocs

"As the IP of your LDAP server is 192.168.1.100, type "ldap://192.168.1.100" (without the quotes), or just "192.168.1.100" (some people have trouble connecting with the first syntax, specially on MS Windows servers)."

Not sure about your contexts either, do you mean ou=students,dc=btc,dc=local? LDAP specification is always most specific on the left to least specific on the right.

I could kiss you :)

Thanks its working now, thanks allot
