ISA 2004 & WSUS

How do i get ISA 2004 to connect to my WSUS server?

All other servers & PC's are getting their updates from WSUS, but not my ISA server

proxycfg -d -p proxy.whereever.ac.uk:8080 yourwsusserver

erm aren't -d and -p mutually exclusive swithc options

 

-d no proxy

-p specific proxy

nope. The way it does it it means that it'll try and go direct. If that fails then it'll go via your proxy. Except for your WSUS Server, where it'll go direct all the time.

 

This arrangement ensures both your WSUS server works and you can still use http://update.microsoft.com
