i was going to have to do that but found a hotel for £19, i will to foot the bill for an extra night to allow for a lie in.

Not too far about 20 mins if walking from the venue.

 

Not to many places around near venue apart from the student bar and trust me dont want to drink in student var

 

Also for those going note the venue is not on the campus.

 

I will catch taxi back to town so pm me and will share based on first come first served etc.

I thought it was being held at the Imago Centre which it claims is on campus?

 

Also I've managed to get a booking at the Imago Burleigh Court Hotel, again apparently on campus?

 

I've never been to Loughborough so wouldn't have a clue!

Sorry me being not so clear...

 

Loughborough is a big campus and yes land it is on is owned by the uni so it on there campus. But entrance is not the main uni entrance.

 

Entrance is off Ashby Road what saying is don't follow signs for uni and assume you will get there (of course if end up at main uni entrance staff will direct you to right place)

 

Hotel is right near the venue (ran by same people)

Hi Russ - you obviously know your way around and I've never been to the area before so maybe you could help out here.... I'm coming by train and am booked into the On campus accommodation which I understand is the conference centre itself in Loughborough - what do I say to the taxi driver to get me to where I'm staying? Also - how do you pronounce IMAGO - I don't want to sound like a total newbie!

I'm flying down from Aberdeen in few hours, would definitely be up for this meet up on Tuesday. I'm also staying in the on campus accommodation.

 

I'll be using google maps to find my way around so hopefully all will go well.

Sean told me last night that can have posters up so thanks to hard work of sysman (I nicked his bett banner and hard work of a white box we have a poster)

 

Just remoted into work and sent to the printer to collect on way through.
