Kyle Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 I have the 4 disc install of Windows Vista, is there anyway it canbe slipstreamed or converted to just one DVD? If so how?
mb2k01 Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 I thought Vista only came on DVD!? Nope! I have a 4cd business upgrade version too! (From the days when MS shipped out huge folders of disks for Schools Agreement customers!)

Michael Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 It kinds of reminds me of Encarta too. You could get it either on 6 CDs or one DVD Not sure if this is still the case?
SYNACK Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 If you are talking about a Vista install split onto multiple cds this is just a multipart WIM image. To combine it you need to copy each of the files onto a computer and use the imagex tool from the Windows AIK to export it to a new combined WIM file to put on a DVD. Not 100% sure if it is possible but it looks like it might be, this post should help: boards.ie - View Single Post - Vista 5 CDs to one DVD
