SimpleSi Posted March 17, 2009 Author Posted March 17, 2009 I would love to know the details of this setup........... Using Yawcam as the main engine - its marvellous. It lets you FTP up a series of images to your website - so I've set it to upload a maximum of 5 images and when it uploads a new one, it renames the old ones and the latest becomes image0.jpg. I found a webcam module CamViewer (I use orig 1.5.3 based egJP so I'm running legacy and can run 1.0 modules) and modified it a bit - this does the main image 10 sec refresh using javascript. The sequence of 4 older image from past minute is using an Iframe to ref a simple html file that uses meta refresh every 30 secs. Yawcam also saves a local image copy every 2 secs that I'll be using to create videos (Photolapse 3, VirtualDub and Riva VideoEncoder to get it into flv file). And icing on cake - Yawcam automagically run as a webserver so that we can have 3fps video into each classroom to stick up on the projectors I've taken todays images and currently converting to video showing eggs moving slighty -I'll upload later regards Simon
