Run a real web server if you dont have one all ready. If it will just be for school employees it makes it that much easier. Utilizing wamp for a production style website can cause major security issues. Wampp or Xampp are not designed to use with a production site but merely a development site.

that makes sense. I have go and find the things I have changed. For the most part I have commented them... but others I have not. The biggest thing I have changed is in the css to have rounded corners, the image on one line and the links below it along with having the links go left to right.

i am thinking of releasing all of my edits from sysman_uks release. I have seen a lot of people ask about turning the menu around, etc. I am curious would I be able to do that, legally and ethically would I? xampp is good. I use it as a development server for an internal network that i know who has access to the web server. I am going to try to move everything to a more of live server opened up to the outside world. i have been joomla and edu geek for a while. edu geek gives joomla the competitive edge i believe to do sites for educational institutions compare to those companies that sell it. I do sites myself and sell my services and a lot of places i have talked to want a simple joomla site nad not all this advanced stuff. some due and i have to tell them that if you really want that feature you need to pay for that now so i can incorporate it. if you have quesitons just post them in here, i usually come here several times a week to try to help out. if it is more of a joomla issue you can post here or at the joomla official forums as well. thanks edu geek m. brown my views expressed in postings are not the views by any of my employers, persons or busineses ossiocated with me.

sorry i was tired when i made that post. joomla pack is good for moving anything. if you are just moving directories it is still nice.

Thank you for posting this. I have been in the IRC channel for joomla on freenode and still no update of the topic. I did say something to them about updating it lol. Once again thank you. I have one live site right now and several others that are in the works that would need this update.

its internal. hold on i can show you the code that i had to change. add the following to template.css ul.latestnews { list-style-type: disc ; text-align:center; } ul { list-style-type:none; } This will allow for the latest news to have a bullet system and be centered. the centered is required to show the bulleted system.
