Introducing myself

Just thought I would say hello to everyone.

 

I am the new (been here 2 months) E-Learning manager for stockport. I will be running the VLE/Learning platforms for all the primary schools within stockport. Worked at a secondary school as a Network manager for 4 years and as a ICT Technician for 4 years.

 

Stockport has adopted the Moodle platform for many reasons. The mains are cost and all colleges and some secondarys run it. The only other option was Frog as some secondarys run this and that was way out of budget and would of taken about a year to purchase due to not being on Becta list.

 

Any comments most welcome.

Hi Paul. I set up a Moodle site for our school in Rochdale. It would be interesting for me, and I'm sure others here, if you wouldn't mind answering the occasional questions from your point of view as an e-learning manager.
