Another G1 owner here, and I'm in love with the thing. It's pretty effortless to use, and the application market is gaining momentum all the time. The one thing that I'm missing at the moment is a decent ebook reader, which the iPhone has. On the other hand, the iPhone can't do background apps, which sucks pretty hard.

Im also sure I saw somewhere another Omnia released later this year that wasn't Windows Mobile...anyone got a clue?

 

The Omnia HD is due to be released in June, that'll be running the latest version of Symbian.

 

Officially Orange now only supply it to business customers but places like Car Phone Warehouse, Tesco's etc still sell it to consumers.

I think iv narrowed it down to the Omnia or the LG Arena. T-Mobile don't seem to have the Arena listed on their webby as an available handset yet. Im hoping this will change as I will be able to upgrade later this month.

 

Not too sure on the G1. It does look very nice but the amount of apps already available for windows mobile is just too tempting. The interface for google maps looks a lot nicer on the G1 than it does on windows though.
