Thanks already tried that and get the same problem. (The image I posted is from a VM which I used just for ease of grabbing the screen)

Trying it on a proper XP laptop I also get the same issue. The OS type changes with some other details but it still stops at the same place.

Should also point out that Ubuntu is running on a VM itself but I can't see why that should make too much difference.

It looks like you've done a debug upload instead of a regular one typing 'fog' at the command prompt should set it going. I've found it indispensable here. Worth the perseverance to get it going right.

Yep that's what I'd done. Knew it would be something daft, those upload/download arrows just don't jump out enough at you. I'd gone straight to the advanced options

Looks like we're away now.

Hi Guys,

I got to below in my fog setup an can't go any further please help

Database Schema Installer / Updater

Your database connection appears to be invalid. FOG is unable to communicate with the database. There are many reasons why this could be the case. Please check your credentials in /var/www/html/fog/lib/fog/config.class.php. Also confirm that the database is indeed running. If credentials are correct, and if the Database service is running, check to ensure your filesystem has enough space.
