Anyone using either of these?

Need two more laptops to go in existing charging trolley which has 6x hp6720s laptops in. Looking to buy the HP6730s but really want to make sure they use the same chargers as the 6720s' does anyone know?

All the newer hp stuff has smartpin chargers which are all compatible as they can report their capibilities to the laptop and adjust their usage accordingly.

Compatible with the smartpin charger from above hence the other two as well. :) It may just charge the 6735s a little slower.

The charger may be smart, but the end doesn't fit them all. They randomly use different connector sizes on different models.

Not in the later models that I have encountered, they have been standardised in all the laptops that I have seen for a couple of years now. Besides the replacement part number in the quickspecs is the same for the 6720s and the 6730s so as the exact same part they should be compatible.

and the 6735s is listed as having the option of the same 65W one as the others also
