unixman Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 There is a story in the Birmingham papers today saying that Amnesty International is appealing to campaigners in Birmingham to add their names to an online pledge calling for worldwide internet freedom. The LEA have censored this petition - I guess I'll have to sign it at home.

eduabncs Posted June 1, 2006 Posted June 1, 2006 Actually the reason it;s blocked is for Spam Email URLs (su) Probably the reason behind it is the IP range of the hosting company that the petitions website is using has been/is used by spammers. I'll get the BGfL Web filtering Manager to look at this for you on Monday with a view to unblocking it.
