FN-GM Posted February 14, 2009 Author Posted February 14, 2009 FN-GM, Virtualise the server and have both. Its not an option, the windows server will be in a remote location. It needs an upgrade anyway. Thanks Z
kmount Posted February 14, 2009 Posted February 14, 2009 So? We have a Xen server (Centos Base) in a DC hosting several virtual servers including Server 2003, XP, Linux etc etc. Just makes sense to me if you have space for 1 but want 2, virtualise.
FN-GM Posted February 14, 2009 Author Posted February 14, 2009 Well i will be play with linux and i want it physically at my house. The current box is starting to struggle with Windows never mind Windows and linux. As i am not yet confident with linux i would have to use a Windows host. Because my current machine is begging to struggle i need a new one and i might as well make use of the old one
