Messa Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 (edited) Hiya, Does anyone know how many amps the HP Proliant Dl120's pull? I've checked their datasheet's but it doesn't tell me exactly in amps. Thanks in advance Edited February 9, 2009 by Messa
Butuz Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 You can buy a little amp/watt meter for £15 odd from places like RM and Maplin. Soooo handy. Butuz
Messa Posted February 9, 2009 Author Posted February 9, 2009 I Haven't bought the machine yet, as it's going in a datacentre i don't want to buy it, for it to be high power and cost me a fortune. Thanks anyways
Butuz Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Sorry cant help in that case - suggest you email HP directly! Butuz
PeterW Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 http://h30099.www3.hp.com/configurator/powercalcs.asp Hmm here is the HP power calulator but it does not seem to list the DL120
Messa Posted February 12, 2009 Author Posted February 12, 2009 =[ Ah well I'll see if i can source some info from HP Direct unless anyone else knows the answer
Willott Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 IIRC it's around the half amp mark when running - maxes about 1-1.25 on startup I think. Been a little while since I've played with them on an amp meter, will see if I can get a response from old employer and see if they still have record! 1
